GV II*

House. Late C17. Brick with plain tiled roof. 2-storeyed with
attic, 7-window range. Central 6-panelled door with overlight,
flanked by 18-pane sash windows with thick astragals and
flat-arched finely gauged brick heads. 3 windows to right of
doorway on ground floor are blind. Brick string courses at
each floor. Modillion eaves cornice, and steeply pitched roof
with 3 gabled dormers. Coped gables, and end wall stacks. Fine
rainwater heads with foliate decoration in the casting.
INTERIOR: staircase with 2 twisted balusters to each step,
plaster ceilings and early C18 wall-panelling.
