The Castle Vaults Public House

Public house. Dated 1829. Stucco with Welsh slate roof. 4
storeys, 2-window range. Round-arched doorway to right, and
inserted sash windows of 9 and 12-panes alongside it. Upper
storeys divided into 2 bays by pilaster strips, the left hand
bay emphasised with Venetian window to first floor, and
round-arched sashes over, in continuous stressed architrave
which terminates in segmental projection inscribed with date.
4-pane sashes in right hand bay. Axial stack. Included for
group value.
