War Memorial, c. 1920. Portland stone. Cusped cross with crocket finials on tapered column of octagonal shaft with brattishing at capital. Octagonal plinth on stone step set on base of octagonal tiered concrete steps of 3 risers. Plinth with carved inscription on one face: 'JESUS SAID, GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN THIS THAT HE LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIENDS'. Carved names of World War I dead in flanking faces. Opposite side of plinth with later brass plaques on three faces: 'TO COMMEMORATE THE MEN FROM BRILL WHO DIED IN TWO WORLD WARS.' with names of the dead in flanking plaques. Sited in village green enclosed by stone bollards linked with chain.
