Includes: No.32 DICKINSON STREET. Commercial building, now offices. c.1860-80. Sandstone ashlar ground floor, red brick with sandstone dressings above (roof not visible). Irregular parallelogram on corner site, with chamfered corner. Four storeys over cellar, 5 bays to both facades, plus the corner; with plinth, channelled rusticated piers to ground floor, brick pilasters to the upper floors with bands at 1st floor and cornices at 2nd floor, and bracketed eaves cornice steped out slightly over the pilasters. Square-headed corner doorway under balustraded 1st-floor balcony, another square-headed doorway at the end, and large rectangular windows to the other bays with altered glazing; coupled window to the upper floors, those at 1st floor with stilted segmental heads and stone mullions, those at 2nd floor with shaped heads and stone mullions, and those at 3rd floor round-headed, and all these windows sashed without glazing bars. Rear and interior not inspected. Included for group value.
