Fire station. Late C19. Limestone ashlar and coursed rubble,
ashlar gable stack and pantile half-hipped roof. Rectangular
plan. 2 storeys; 1-window range. Ashlar clasping corners with
a ground-floor cornice, forms full-height round-headed
archway, ashlar ground floor with a plinth, rubble above.
Patford Street end has a lower 2-storey ashlar right-hand
range with a right-hand door and paired first-floor windows in
architraves. INTERIOR not inspected. Included for group value.
