C16 or C17 or earlier. Timber-framed. Red brick front with some grey headers.
Pitched tile roof, catslide to north. Red brick chimney.
2 storeys. 3 casement windows with glazing bars on 1st floor, 2 on ground floor.
1 planked door in plain deep reveal with 2 tiled steps up. 1 cellar door at west
end. East side has part of former bressumer showing.

Nos 2 to 10 (even) form a group with Nos 69 & 71 High Street, and with the raised
pavements on the north side of Maltravers Street.
