Canal office. C 1812-16. Multi-coloured stock brick, painted on canal
facade to 1st floor level - slated, gabled cross roofs with projecting
eaves, at east and west ends forming pediments. 2 storeys. Canal facade 3
windows. Plain segmental arched doorway. Segmental arched, recessed
sashes. East facade with bracketed bow window at ground floor level. This
building originally housed the toll collection point for the Paddington and
Regent's branches of the Grand Union Canal.
