House. C17/C18. Remodelled C19. Regular coursed ironstone rubble. C20 tile roof.
Stone ridge stack. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys plus attic. Tudor revival style.
Gabled 2-storey entrance porch has ogee headed doorway. Small ogee headed
windows to sides. Upturned hoodmould above doorway. 2-light traceried stone
mullioned window to first floor of porch. Elevation to road: two 2-light
casements inserted in stone surrounds. Hood moulds and label stops. Interior:
Wooden winder stair, chamfered beams and joists with run out stops, chamfered
bressumer, inglenook fireplace with inserted C20 hearth. An interesting example
of C19 estate details added to an earlier house.
