2 storey dwelling originally timber framed now encased in stone and much
extended in C17. Main frontage to street is plain. 1 window with wood mullion
and door to right. 1st floor 3 windows, stone mullions and part original
lights.
Rear of house more distinguished with large projecting rear wing, and 2 gables,
copings and finials. Also very substantial stack topped in brick. Mullioned
windows, string course. Large porch at centre with steps ascending from
west. Fluted square stone columns with hipped tile roof. To east a smaller
projecting gable also with coping and finials. Horsham slabs for most of
roof. East wall has timber and brick nogging.

Ye Dorset Arms Hotel, Dorset House, Nos 66 to 76 (even), Cromwell House and
Nos 82 to 88 (even) form a group.
