Pair of large semi-detached houses probably mid-C19. Coursed limestone
rubble. Banded fishscale and plain clay tile roof. 5-bay plan with
projecting gabled sections to each end of N. elevation. Central red brick
ridge and gable end chimney stacks. Two storeys and attics. Decorated
bargeboards and drop finials. N. elevation: in attic of gable ends a single
window of 3 panes x 3 panes. Opening light pivots with semi-circular fixed
light above with simplified Gothic tracery. First floor 1:4:1 sash windows
with glazing bars. Ground floor 1:2:1 sash windows with glazing bars. In
either angle between central block and projecting gables, is doorway with
gabled doorhood and moulded brackets on with cusped, openwork bargeboards.
