Linking together of small C18 house and C19 house to form a single large
dwelling. Further C19 additions to rear. All of coursed limestone rubble
with old clay tile roofs. C18 house to E. is gable end to the road. Two
bays. One storey and attics. S. gable end has drop finial. Attic single
light casement winoow with glazing bars. Ground floor two-light casement
window with timber mullion and high level transom. E. elevation: flat-roofed
attic dormer. Stone gabled porch with fishscale tile roof. Rear wing at
right angles. Two storey. Banded plain and fishscale tile roof. S.
elevation: first floor; two 2-light casement windows, left-hand one with
glazing bars. Ground floor two casement windows; left-hand one 3-light with
glazing bars and red brick gauged head, right-hand one 2-light. To W. is mid-
C19 house. Double pile plan with parallel gabled roofs. Gable ends to road.
Two storey. S. elevation: moulded gable finials and carved bargeboards.
Large moulded timber brackets to overhanging verges. First floor has two sash
windows with glazing bars. Ground floor: sash window with glazing bars to
right hand side, C20 bow window to left-hand side. W. elevation: two large
gables with plain bargeboards and moulded brackets. Iwo sash windows with
glazing bars to each floor. Central doorway.
