The Priory,
including The Coach House

House and stable block attached. Dated 1888; architect not
known. Brick and tile-hung; tiled gable-end roof. Tall brick
axial and gable-end stacks with shafts, moulded-stone caps. Old
English style. Main range with cross wing. 2 storeys and attic
and attic. Principal elevation, asymmetrical, 3-bays; jettied,
tile-hung gable on left with pierced barge-boards and
wrought-iron weather vane. Two large gabled oriels on right with
leaded-pane windows with mullions and transoms. Central
3-centred arch moulded stone doorway with consoles and cornice
carrying carved stone bracket to oriel above. Panelled double
doors. To left and right pairs of stone mullioned and transomed
windows. Other elevations similarly but less elaborately
treated, one with verandah attached. Interior not inspected.
Coachhouse to left of house.
