C18 altered or early Cl9, 3 storey slate hung upper floors, 2 flush frame
sash windows each, No 25 with glazing bars remaining. Circa 1830-40 matching
shop fronts with central coupled entrances, flank pilasters with incised
ornament, and enriched entablature. Wood eaves cornice with soffit panel.
Anchor Hotel, Nos 7 to 51 (odd) and Evangelical Church form a group.
