Bramley Manor House

GV II

House. Late C17, altered and extended in late C19. Sandstone rubble, with brick
dressings and plain tiled roofs. Two storeys and attics in three large, terra-cotta
edged gables on main front. Plinth, with plat band over ground floor. Offset end
stacks and ridge stacks to front and rear left of centre. Three, two-light attic
casement windows, one to each gable with sphere finials on apexes above. Seven
"cross" casement windows to first floor, two in each outer gable, three to centre
gable. Two, three-light "cross" windows to outer ground floor bays and pentice
porch across centre with gable to left over door. Pentice addition to left end.
Tile hung C19 extensions to rear and at right angles.
