Largely rebuilt circa 1800, stucco, painted, 2 storey, 2 windows, including
splay bay at each floor, sash windows now with centre glazing bars only.
Slate roof, hipped. Birthplace of C18 poet John Wolcot, known as Peter
Pindar. House is set back from general frontage.

Leighton House, Conservative Club, Nos 1 to 4 (consec) (South Place),
Pindar Lodge, Nos 1 & 2 (Victoria Place) form a group in important position.
