Former police station. Mid C19. Stock brick walls. Slate hipped roof; flanking
stacks. Two storeys. Three bay front elevation with first floor band. Semi-
circular headed ground floor openings in arcading with narrow band across front at
impost levels; central doorway with fanlight with radiating tracery flanked to each
side by a sash window with glazing bars with radiating tracery in the head. Three
segmentally headed openings to first floor with keystones, lugs to cills and with
sash windows with glazing bars. Matching brick single storey wing to left hand with
blind arcading in front elevation. Interior: said to retain the original cellblock
with iron faced doors.
