Description

NORTH HILL
SX 27 NE
4/111 Warren's Park Farmhouse
GV II
Farmhouse. Early to mid C19 possibly with earlier origins. Rendered and painted
stone rubble, slate hung on left hand end. Rendered brick end stacks on front slope
of roof with rear lateral stack with cloam oven projection to rear.
Plan: Double-depth plan, the two principal rooms to front heated by end stacks and
the kitchen to rear left heated by a rear lateral stack. Small later C19 or C20
extension along the right hand side.
The projection of the chimney stacks on the front slope suggest that the house was
possibly of a single depth plan and extended to rear or alternatively had a double
span roof which has been altered.
Exterior: Two storeys. Symmetrical 3-window front complete with early to mid C19
hornless sashes with original glass. C19 6-panel door in C19 slate porch with two
20-pane sashes on ground floor and three similar sashes on first.
Interior: Not inspected.
