Former outside privy and ashpit. Mid C19. Hammer-dressed stone,
lacks roof. Small gabled purpose built structure, gable fronted
to road with paired low arched doorways to ashpits with above a
pair of square stones with an open hole formed by a circle cut
into the stone. To the left unattached coalhouse, to the right
a flight of stone steps leads to the upper level and separate
doorways (for boys and girls) to privy - retains original double
seat supported by stone flag to front. Included for group value
with listed Church Sunday School to north.
