Early C19 front to older building. 3 storeys. Bath stone. Plain frieze,
moulded cornice. Parapet. Slate roof. 3 windows and one panel to right
hand of centre on 2nd floor. 4 windows on lst floor, 4 panes wide, all
with flat moulded stone cornices on cut scroll brackets. Windows to left
hand of centre false. On ground floor - arched entry to Mortimers Court
to left hand and modern shop to right hand.
The passage through archway timber framed. The back of building probably
early C18, of brick and stuccoed timber framing, with mansard old tile roof.
1 fixed dormer, 2 C18 2-light casements and one window to right hand on
lst floor, and 2 windows and 4-panel door to right hand on ground floor.
Windows heavy barred in wide frames, the door and one window under wide
flat hood, with coved soffit, hung from wall above.

Nos 1 to 5 (consec) with Nos 1 and 2 The Brittox form a group.
