Milestone. Late C18. Limestone pillar with pitched top. Fine
lettering to front; XCI / Miles from / LONDON / XIII / from /
AMESBURY. Bench mark incised below lettering. Amesbury to
Willoughby Hedge section of this major road was turnpiked 1760-62.
