House and cottage, now one dwelling. Dated 1741 with later alterations. Coursed
square stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 1st-floor windows,quoins, Left end
covered by 2-storey pent-roofed addition with doorway in right return and lst-floor
window at junction with main range. To right of this, 3 windows to each floor,
all formerly 4-light, now 2-light, with plain stone surrounds and flat-faced mullions.
Doorway to right of central window with plain stone surround and date plaque above
(to right). lst-floor oval window between left-hand windows. Shaped kneeler and
coping to right. Stacks to ridge between left-hand windows and to right end.
Right return, blocked 4-light 1st-floor window with single-light window to gable.
Interior: re-used beams in right-hand lst-floor window. Possibly built for the
Leigh family who were the occupiers from at least the 1760s until 1883.
