Treswell Farm

Barn. Probably mid C19. Stone rubble with granite dressings. Rag slate roof with
hipped ends.
Plan: Overall rectangular plan. Ground rises to rear and there is direct access to
the loft from rear. Range of shippons on ground floor and threshing floor on first.
Exterior: Two storeys. Asymmetrical front elevation. C19 door to left flanked by
two window openings with C20 extensions across front to right. The granite lintels
above the openings are continued to form a continuous string. First floor with
double doors to right and single door to left, both with slate hoods. Narrow
ventilation slits and row of pigeon holes below eaves. Rear elevation with opposing
threshing doors with slate hoods.
Interior: Not inspected.
