GV II
Farmhouse. Circa late C17 to early C18. Stone rubble, rendered on front. Rag slate
roof with gable ends. Stone rubble end stacks.
Plan: Two room and cross passage plan with circa C19 small outshut added to rear of
right hand room and stair probably added to rear of passage.
Exterior: Two storeys. Almost symmetrical 3-window front with C19 plank door with
slate hood in centre. Probably late C19 or C20 3-light casement to left and 2-light
casement to right. First floor has two C19 2-light casements flanking a central C19
1-light casement.
Interior: Passage has C19 wood boarded partitions on either side. Ceiling beams
covered by later ceilings. Left hand room has granite surround to fireplace with C19
mantle-shelf.
