4/166 Shippons and stables on west side
of yard at Trebartha Barton

Range of farmbuildings. Probably mid C19. Stone rubble, partly slate hung above
ground floor on front left. Slate roof with hipped ends.
Plan: Overall rectangular plan with stables and shippons on ground floor and loft
above. Lean-to C19 outshut across rear.
Exterior: Two storeys. Asymmetrical front partly slate hung with rag slates above
ground floor on left. The left hand part appears to have been altered and may have
been an open-fronted linhay. The ground floor openings have granite jambs. Two
plank doors on first floor. To right the range has two doors on ground floor flanked
by window openings. Two window openings on first floor flanked by ventilation
slits. Two rows of pigeon holes below eaves. Partly slate hung on rear. C19
casements.
