walls north-east of
Castle Lodge.

Gatepiers, gates and walls. Mid/late C19. Sandstone ashlar; iron gates. Low curved
walls with fiat copings, between inner and outer piers with shallow pyramidal caps.
Inner piers have moulded hollow-chamfered angles facing attached ornamental gates
with spike finials. At entrance to grounds of Skelton Castle (q.v).
