GV II

Cartshed and cartshed/granary. Early/mid C18. Coursed squared limestone rubble
and brick with limestone-ashlar dressings; corrugated-sheet roofs. Single range.
2-bay granary section has an open cartshed at ground floor with a central post
supporting a bressumer, above which is brickwork; right gable end has the
granary door approached by stone steps. To left is a 2-bay cartshed. Both
sections have steep-pitched roofs. Interior: trusses have tiebeams and collars,
and they support 2 rows of butt purlins with through tenons; rafters are jointed
at the ridge.
