Garden building and house. Early/mid C18. Ashlar and coursed rubble stone with
Welsh slate hipped roof and brick central ridge stack. 2 storeys and attic.
2-window range. Principal front faces to rear. This is of ashlar and has giant
central alcove plastered and colourwashed. Triple keyblock reaches to top of
roof parapet. A sash window to either side on both floors: those to ground floor
of S panes with round-arched heads and those above of 6 panes. Projecting
keyblocks, those on ground floor reaching floor band which continues within
alcove. Part-glazed door and further sashes to left side and sashes to right
side. Front facing road is also a 2-window range of 6-pane sashes over 2-light
casements with toplights. Stone lintels. 2-light hipped dormer to centre.
Interior not inspected. The alcove front faces what was formerly the large
walled garden of Ditchley Park (q.v.) and was probably on the main axis.
