Rye windmill
TQ 9120 2/160 12l0.51.

2.
Smock type. Ground and 1st floor tarred brick. Above white weather boarding.
This mill is only a shell. The original mill was entirely destroyed by fire
in 1930, but, under the terms of the lease, by which it was held, it had
to be rebuilt though it is not a complete replica of the old one. It contains
no machinery and only one floor division, being the ceiling of the roundel,
which is used as a storehouse and garage. The fantail is a dummy.
