C18 front to an earlier building. 2 storeys. 2 windows. Stuccoed. The
ground floor projects slightly with pilasters between the windows. Tiled
roof. A tablet on the house records - 'The House of Gill, Clockmakers from
1680 to 1791, Daniel Gill, Banker, 1791." The VCH says that the house
has remains of C15 roof and a cellar with stone walls.

Nos 92 to 97 (consec) George Hotel and Nos 99 to 104A (consec) form a group.
