Pair of houses. 1739 and 1784 (datestones) but predominately mid C19. Hammer
dressed stone, partly rendered, stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 4 1st floor
windows. South west elevation:
Ground floor; entrance in modern porch with datestone: 1739. Entrance
with stone surrounds. One 2-light stone mullioned window (later). One single
light window with stone surround (later). Former possible 7-light stone
mullioned window (alternate mullions removed).
First floor; two former 4-light stone mullioned windows (each has 2 mullions
removed). Two former 3-light stone mullioned windows (all mullions removed).
Datestone reads:
R W [Walker]
1784
Shaped kneelers, ashlar coping, stone gable finial.
North east elevation:
Go single-light windows to first floor. Lean-to extension. Later extension
to south-east gable has one single-light window to each floor and one entrance
to south-west elevation.
