No. 14 (Starleigh), No. 12 and No. 10

Row of three houses treated as single composition. Early C19. No. 14 is of rubble stone,
with ashlar front, Welsh slate roof, wide coped gable and brick end stack. Two
storeys, single-fronted, door to right. Plinth band and similar band between storeys,
cornice. 8/8 sash to first floor. Late C19 or early C20 canted bay glazed with
margin lights below. Panelled door in moulded architrave beneath bracketed hood.
No. 12 is of rubble stone with ashlar dressings. C20 concrete-tile roof and rendered
brick end stacks. Two and a half storeys, double-fronted, taller than houses to
either side. Central C20 door in gabled wooden trellis-work porch. 8/8 sashes to
ground and first floors. Late C19 sashes to gabled dormers breaking through eaves.
no. 10 is of rubble stone with ashlar front heightened to create attic storey. Welsh
slate roof, brick end stack. Two and a half storeys, single-fronted, C20 door to
left. C20 glazing to original openings, ground and first floors. Gabled dormer
(probably C20) above.
