Set back from road on higher level. Circa 1830 villa. 2 storeys red brick.
Low pitch hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves. 3 windows to 1st floor,
recessed sashes, 4 panes wide, block sills, flat rubbed brick arches. Ground
floor has 2 tall recessed windows, 2 light marginal glazed casements, the
top panes hinged. Venetian shutters. Block sills and flat rubbed brick arches.
Central recessed door of 6 flush panels, 4 glazed, in architrave surround.
3 stone steps. Good iron tent roof porch with open work Ionic pilasters to
front, oval set in necking with lead ornament, and linked leaf motif in the
panels forming shafts. Delicate scroll brackets to sides.
2 storey wing to south west with hipped slate roof and shallow eaves cornice.
1 window to ground floor, recessed sash, 4 panes wide, with Venetian shutters.
Single storey wing flanking to north east also of 1 window, shutters removed.
