Pair of brick and tile-hung cottages incorporating C17 or earlier framed structure.
2 storeys. 3 windows. Projecting boarded eaves and gutter. ½ hip ridge tiled
roof and centre stack. C19 square paned casements and 2 C18 panelled doors
with small bracketed hoods over. Tile hung 1st floor. Brick ground floor.
Adjoining No 25 and projecting in front. 1-storey tiled gable-ended elevation
moms street with projecting flat canopy over shop front supported on C18 rounded
columns with moulded base and capitals. Group value. This is a C19 building
but the columns supporting the canopy over shop front originally formed part
of a colonnade on the south front of Chipstead Place. Empty and decaying at
time of survey.

Nos 17 to 25 (odd) and Butcher's shop form a group.
