Two semi detached cottages. Mid C18 with C20 raising of
eaves and internal modernisation. Coursed rubble stone walls.
Thatch roof with gable ends. C20 brick stacks at left hand
ridge centre ridge and right hand ridge. 1½ storeys, raised to
two storeys in C20. 5 windows to ground floor, 7 windows to
first floor: 2 light wood casements with glazing bars, throughout,
wood cills and lintels. Front doors: no. 26, right of centre,
wood with glazed upper half, C20. No. 27, left of centre, plank
and muntin with glazed upper half, C20, wood lintels. (R.C.H.M.
