Explosives Store. c1860. Red brick with a slate roof. Square plan. East front has raised
stepped gable with moulded terracotta ridge pieces, and a single doorway, with outer slate door, now lying on the ground close by; inner door metal door with ornate hinges and
bolt. Above and to the left an enamelled metal notice citing the Explosives Act 1875.
Interior has stone flagged floor, with barrel vaulted roof and slate shelves.
Tudor Lodge, mentioned in the address, is not a listed building.
