House. C17 or earlier 2-bay lobby entrance house, reclad in early C19 and
mainly refenestrated in C20. Ground floor red brick with grey headers in
Flemish bond on cemented plinth to front, first floor weatherboarded with old
tarred weatherboarding to front and renewed weatherboarding to sides. Half-
hipped old tiled roof with cemented off-central chimney-stack but rear roof
slope has modern pantiles. 2 storeys, 3 windows. Mainly C20 fixed casements
but central window is a small pivoting casement, Central doorcase with plank
door with diamond glazed cut out. Original corner post exposed on right hand
corner. Later outshut to rear. Interior has anC18 wooden winder stair , larger
open fireplace to left hand room and smaller C18 cambered fireplace inserted
into right hand room. Chamfered spine beam and thick floor joists. Rear wall
has timbers of large scantling. Roof has curved windbrace visible.
