Georgian. The mansion has been demolished for the colliery, but the lodge
remains. Ashlar, slate roof, single storey, square plan with pyramid roof,
rusticated quoins, centre round-headed doorway with stone round-arched
porch, a 2-light window at each side with round-headed lights and labels.
