C16 or earlier restored house. An extra bay added at left, in keeping, and
projecting modern right extension under gable. 2 storeys, 3 windows in main
part, 2 more in right extension. High pitched tiled roof with ridge stack partly
rebuilt. Tile hung lst floor. Late C18 or early C19 ground floor of red brick
with diaper of blue headers. Old part has C19 casements and one projecting
modern square bay. One old iron casement at back. Some visible heavy chamfered
beam inside. Originally a 2-bay hall with short smoke bay.
