Barn. Circa late C17. Weatherboarded timber-frame on a brick plinth. Clay plain tile roof
with half-nipped ends.
PLAN: 3-bay with threshing bay at centre; the right [SW] bay has been partitioned from the
other two bays for domestic use.
EXTERIOR: The south west front has large C20 double-doors at the centre. The south
west end has a C20 French window and other C20 casements. One small casement at the
rear.
INTERIOR: the frame is largely intact. Jowled posts and curved braces to tie-beams with
queen-struts to the collars and clasped purlins; curved wind-braces, complete common-rafter
couples; some wall studding and long slightly curved tension-braces.
