Hedley House and Mill Hill Lodge

Cottage, formerly two cottages. Mid C18 with extension of c1800. Weatherboarded (with fillets to earlier right hand wing); Some brick slate, low pitched hipped roof to eaves. Two storeys plus basement. Slightly projecting two bay wing to right with two bay wing at right angles to left. Entrance to left bay of right wing with tented canopy. C19 bay window to ground floor of each wing. Square headed windows. Vertical sashes to right wing, horizontal sliding sashes to left; plate glass. Brick range to extreme left. Rear elevation also weatherboarded. Surviving internal features including some panelling, planked doors with 'L' shaped hinges, etc.
