House. C17 or earlier with C18 and later alterations and additions. Timber
framed, red brick faced. Red plain tiled roof. Red brick chimney stack. Rear
extension. 2 storeys and attics. 1:3 window range, those to left 2 light
casements, to right vertically sliding sashes with glazed margins. Central C20
nipped porch, board door. Original frame to right with C18 left bay and rear
wings. Large jowled storey posts, large bridging and ceiling joists. Several
moulded fire surrounds. C18 panelling to landing. Boarded roof to attics. C18
cupboard to attic and original vertically boarded doors. Some 6 panelled doors
to ground floor. C18/C19 rear dairy with brick floor, slate shelf and hanging
hooks.
