Embroidery factory, now architects' offices. c1900, converted
c1985. Red brick, with ashlar ground floor, ashlar dressings
and slate mansard roof with coped gables. Plinth, ground floor
cornice, ashlar bands, modillion eaves cornice. Windows are
mainly segment-arched plain sashes with brick arches and
double keystones. 3 storeys plus basement and attics; 6 window
range. Rusticated ground floor has in the centre 4 windows
with basement openings below, and to left, a door and
overlight. To right, a round-arched doorway with voussoirs,
keystone and hood on brackets, panelled door and fanlight.
Above, regular fenestration on 2 floors. Attics have 3 large
box dormers with 2 double glazing bar casements.
