House. C17. Rubble; timber-frame and plaster; composite tile
roof; brick and roughcast ridge stack on stone base; brick
stack to rear.
2 storeys; 2-window range: 2-light casements with lattice
leaded lights. Entrance to right: C20 porch with earlier plank
door, and side-lights, containing C20 glazed door in original
frame; 2 mullion windows with metal casements and
lattice-leaded lights. Left returned side: timber-frame and
plaster with lattice-braced gable, over rubble; C20 casements.
Entrance in rubble lean-to to rear: plank door in oak frame,
under simple wood hood. Right returned side: timber-frame and
plaster with lattice-braced gable, over roughcast; C20 leaded
casement and C18 casement, over C20 cross-window; C20 casement
to lean-to.
INTERIOR: C17 deep chamfered ceiling-frame; dogleg staircase
with stick balusters and turned newel.
