II

Church tower and spire. 1862-4. By Perkins and Backhouse.
Dressed stone. Gothic Revival style, tall tower with corner
buttresses. High pointed moulded doorway at base, cusped
inside with gabled dripmould with crockets containing carved
date 1864. Above, 3-light Geometric traceried window above
which is clock face, 2-light belfry over with plate tracery
and flanking blind lights. Cornice, stone broach spire with
lucarnes at base.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Remainder of church rebuilt and not of special interest.
