GV II

Large house, later a school. Now offices. Early C19. Ashlar,
slate roof. Cornice and blocking course. 2 storeys, 5 windows.
3-bay pediment. Projecting centre has portico with entablature
on 2 Ionic columns and 2 pilasters. Continuous sill band.
Right return: porch with re-set pediment centre and
inscription: 'P/ WA 1764'; round-arched stair window left.
Rear, to Lawns Lane: 9-window range of 2 storey service wing
with hipped roof, moulded eaves cornice right, ashlar stacks.
Undergoing thorough re-ordering at time of survey.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
