House. Late C18. Coursed stone, slate roof. 2 storeys, 3
first-floor windows. Panelled door in plain surround, wide
sashes with glazing bars in plain painted stone architraves.
Added wing right, now separate property (No.5 Bainbrigge
Road): coursed stone, slate roof, 2 storeys, 3 windows,
16-pane sashes in plain stone architraves. Right return:
Victorian glazed porch, modillion eaves cornice. Rear: the
added wing projects and is semicircular on plan with a sash
window to each floor.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
One of the few houses of the old village of Headingley,
possibly a farmhouse or linked with the church.
