Masonic hall, now offices. 1900. By John Mitchell Bottomley.
Restored 1991 and converted to offices. Red brick ground
floor, yellow brick above, stone dressings, steep-pitched
slate hipped roof with modillion eaves cornice. Bell turret
over centre and central pedimented gable. 2 storeys with
basement and attic, 5 x 2 bays. Moulded segmental-arched
entrance centre, flanked by round-arched windows with
keyblocks and moulded string over. Tall round-arched recesses
to 1st floor contain pedimented windows, the centre with
carved arms in tympanum and shallow bowed balustraded balcony.
