The Queen Victoria Public House

GV II

Public house. Mid C19. Rendered brick with slate roof, hipped
at south-east end, with 3 small stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 4-window range. 1st floor has a canted
bay window with 12-pane in front face, moulded cornice and
metal brackets to soffit; blind window recess, and on either
side a 16-pane recessed sash window. The ground floor has an
iron-bar ventilator, low boarded door with exposed lintel and
canted bay with 16-pane sash in front face and metal bracket
supports; door with semicircular head and 2 steps, and one
16-pane sash window. Some old patterned exterior plaster.
INTERIOR: storage area to south-east end has lower ceiling and
taller room on 1st floor.
