GV II

House. Early C19. White-stuccoed brick with hipped slate
roofs. T-plan form.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. 1st floor has an 8-pane
sash window with incised flat arch either side of a similar
window in former door opening. Ground floor has a projecting
central porch with semicircular-arched door opening and
balcony over with hipped slate roof and Gothic cast-iron
handrails. Either side are canted bay windows with hipped
slate roof over sashes incorporating a central vertical
glazing bar. Lower eaves to rear and stacks on flanks and on
rear block.
INTERIOR: front block has 2 rooms on each floor with a pair of
doors, each leading direct into a room, from porch. Tight
straight-flight staircase against rear wall.
