GV II

House. c1840, altered early C20. Brick with slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and 2 bays. The windows to the upper
storeys are sashed without glazing bars and have rubbed brick
flat arches. The ground-floor window is a wide C20 casement
which projects slightly as a bay window and has 3 lights with
a transom. The doorway, at the left, has a panelled door, a
plain rectangular overlight, and a pilaster doorcase with a
hood on brackets. Chimney on right-hand gable in front of
ridge.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: the front garden is enclosed by iron
railings set on low brick walls with stone copings and is
entered by an iron gate.
